Crossbill Guides News
The first (Dutch) Crossbill Guides Compact "Kempen en Maasland" is available in stores now.
Our new and enlarged Crossbill Guides team will be travelling to Eastern Poland and to the Bulgarian and Greek Rhodopes to produce two new guidebooks. This year we'll give you an insight look into how our guidebooks are being made. During the trips, we'll be posting photos, films and accounts of our field trips on facebook. Our First Dutch Title / onze eerste gids in het Nederlands
Crossbill Guides brengt samen met het Regionaal Landschap Kempen en Maasland en KNNV Uitgeverij een Nederlandstalige Crossbill Guide uit over het schitterende Kempen en Maasland in Vlaams Limburg. Het omvat de natuurgebieden langs de Grensmaas, het Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen en de verschillende natuurgebieden in GrensPark Kempen-Broek.
De gids volgt het concept van de Crossbill Guides, maar is gericht op een (lang) weekend weggaan. Met 128 pagina's is het daarmee dunner en compacter dan de Engelstalige serie, en draagt dan ook de toepasselijke naam Crossbill Compact. De Crossbill Compact Kempen en Maasland is een pilot - bij succes zullen we een serie maken van natuurgebieden in Nederland, Vlaanderen en omliggende gebieden.
